EU to Clobber MS Over OOXML Vote - Allegedly

There's a story zooming around the blogosphere that the EU smells something rotten in the state of Denmark - or rather in a few countries - where the committees voting on OOXML ballooned suddenly with pro-Microsoft people.

What's annoying is that there's been no official confirmation of the story, and the original source, the Wall Street Journal, has a paywall, so you can't find out the details.

Not exactly very open.

Groklaw, myself and several others collect details from people who attended. Nobody escapes. The regulators will hopefully reach the right pages.

Well, that's highly laudable, but it would still be better if we had some official word on this stuff, instead of depending on leaks to US papers....

I think that Pam found (and posted) something more official. Also look at Andy's blog.

Thanks - but looking at both I still only see references to the WSJ as the primary source. Any URLs you can suggest?
