When Will They Ever Learn...?

...not to use Windows:

A computer virus is alive and well on the International Space Station (ISS).

Nasa has confirmed that laptops carried to the ISS in July were infected with a virus known as Gammima.AG.

The worm was first detected on earth in August 2007 and lurks on infected machines waiting to steal login names for popular online games.

  1. lol.

At least it will be easier to infect any invading alien spacecraft as we will be considerably nearer.

This is assuming of course that they use Windows. But somehow I doubt it:

Would you travel through hyperspace, go faster than time itself, squeeze through a multi-dimensional worm-hole and arrive at your destination in one piece if you used Windows?

  2. Reminds me of the story about a class of British warships using Windows NT for their main control systems....
