Years ago, when I was a real journalist, I used to dread going to CeBIT. Then, as now, it was an insanely large exhibition that only Euro anoraks could love, as they went round endless halls filled with printer cables and such-like, scribbling things excitedly in their catalogues....

As an exhibitor many moons ago - the best bit was the party in the Beer Keller on Saturday night!
ReplyDeleteCompeting Ooohmmpahh Bands at either side of an enormous hall seating thousands of revellers served by buxom wenches carrying 6 Steins of Lager in each hand.
Bliss.
The fact that I'm not a beer drinker probably explains the difference in our viewpoints....
