Though… the odd MP searching for transparency is sadly unlikely to get as much notice as journalists like these: http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/04/02/microsoft_anticipates_win_in_ooxml_standards_war.html

I’m all for different viewpoints, but being labelled a bigot because I believe in technically competent standards is just unbelievable :)
