Reviewing the UK Government Response to the Hargreaves Review

I've written a number of columns about the Hargreaves Review, and its generally sensible ideas. But, ultimately, those proposals mean nothing if they are not accepted by the UK government and implemented. That makes today's official response particularly important.

I am completely taken aback. Who are these people and what have they done with the UK's politicians? I half expect tomorrow we'll be reading about Anonymous having cracked into the IPO's website and that this is all some mischievous prank.

May the sun never set on such reasonable steps toward effective copyright reform.

@saulgoode: yes, potentially pretty amazing...but a long way to go before we actually get this...
